But there’s always a runt in the litter – this was Cinders, a piglet born last year – she was always left behind by her brothers and sisters. She had no friends and I felt really sorry for her in the way that you would for the saddest puppy in the pet shop. Ellie took a real shine to Cinders from very early on as she was so friendly and would like to be cuddled by her – Ellie saw something special in her and pleaded that we keep her.
