With accessories giving items a new edge, look to Norwegian designer, Fam Irvoll’s (www.famirvoll.com) SS10 collection, I Love Gays. Adornment is key to this look and draws inspiration from 50’s rockabilly, nautical motifs and tutti-fruity prints.
One of my favourite pieces is an oversized knitted fruit cocktail necklace, which is one way of getting your five-a-day. Fam’s use of bright colours is both brave and bold, adding fun to dreary days and making your outfit a real talking point.
