Following a degree in English Literature, I trained as a magazine journalist at Highbury College and began my career in Devon.

It seems fitting somehow, that it was Devon where I stumbled into a local gallery one afternoon and discovered a knitting group learning how to cast on, and created something akin to a hole-infested cat scarf. Still, I was pretty proud of it and you'll see craft features prominently in my portfolio.

I also take photographs to accompany my work – some of which you'll see on the following pages.

My love of words married with my love of imagery resulted in my new blog Pass the Pattern.

I hope you enjoy looking at my work as much as I've enjoyed producing it.
